Experience the Magic of The Pasadena Roof Orchestra at Kings Hall!

Founded on November 3rd, 1969, The Pasadena Roof Orchestra began its journey when John Arthy placed an advertisement in search of dance band music. A lady in Manchester responded, leading to a bakery van from John’s family business transporting 2,000 original arrangements from the 1920s and 30s back to London. The first tune discovered was Harry Warren’s ‘Home in Pasadena’. The "roof" in the orchestra's name reflects the many roof gardens and orchestras popular in hotels during that era.

Since turning professional in 1975, the orchestra has enjoyed almost overnight success in Germany and has performed worldwide, from the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur to Berlin, Hong Kong, Helsinki, Dublin, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul, and even five tours across the USA.

A classic and captivating experience featuring the timeless music of the 20s and 30s. Theatre seating.
