Reggae Night: Musical Youth & The Marley Experience

Musical Youth are probably best known for their brilliant 1982 hit ‘Pass The Dutchie’, which made it to number 1 across the world selling over 5 millions copies.  Their best-selling album, ‘The Youth of Today’, contained several other catchy tracks, such as ‘Heartbreaker’ and ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’. 2012 represented 30 years since the release of ‘Pass The Dutchie’ and Musical Youth is now a duo in the form of original members Dennis Seaton (Vocals) and Michael Grant (Keyboards) along with a full band.

The Marley Experience are an eight piece Bob Marley Tribute band with a difference, with lead vocalist Lionart & his undeniable vocal resemblance to the late great King of Reggae Bob Marley himself. Lionart has performed on stage alongside famous Reggae stars such as Dawn Penn, Erroll Dunkley & David Rodigan and has been the lead vocalist in bands such as the Friendly Fire Band & the Roots Ambassadors as well as playing trumpet for Reggae band Natural Mystic. Giving you the Hits Classics & Sing along’s Like One Love, Punky Reggae Party, Three Little Birds, No Woman no Cry, Iron Lion Zion, I shot the sheriff, Kinky Reggae, Buffalo Soldier and many many more.

Featuring a new menu, your meal will be served between 6pm-6.45pm in the bar at The King’s Hall.Please give the cafe your name when you arrive at the venue and they will prepare your order.
