Quadrophenia Night

A unique night featuring great live music and DJ-ing celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic movie Quadrophenia.

The concept is the brainchild of Drew Stansall, DJ & former musician with The Specials:

“The scene at the beginning of the film where Jimmy pulls up on his scooter at a dingy London club and sees Cross Section playing ‘Hi Heel Sneakers’, that’s what we want to recreate. The vibe, the atmosphere, the clothes, the music”.

A great night out for those who love the coolness of this iconic film, the night will feature live music from Herne Bay’s very own brilliant band ‘The Lost Weekend’ playing the best 60s and mod tracks from The Kinks to The Small Faces,  plus the amazing ‘Who’s Next’ playing the hits from the film (including Green onions, Louie Louie, Da Doo Ron Ron. Zoot suit, Bellboy, My Generation).

If that’s not enough Drew will spin the best Mod, Ska, Soul, R&B + 2tone tracks alongside a big screen mod film show.
