Colin Blunstone is the lead singer of legendary sixties group The Zombies whose hits included, ‘She’s not There’, ‘Time of the Season’, and ‘Tell Her No’.
His haunting, magnetic voice, still as clear and evocative as ever, helped create the Zombies unique and special sound. Their 1968 acclaimed album Odyssey and Oracle is ranked number 100 on Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time and has been a huge influence on artists including Dave Grohl, Robert Plant, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Weller, and Richard Ashcroft.
Colin’s extensive solo career began in earnest with ‘One Year’ on Epic Records, from which the hit single ‘Say You Don’t’ Mind’ was taken. Two more albums on Epic followed, ‘Ennismore’ and ‘Journey’ which spawned the hits, ‘I Don’t Believe In Miracles’ and ‘How Can We Dare To Be Wrong’.
This was followed by a spell living in California where he signed for Elton John’s label, Rocket Records and released three critically acclaimed albums, ‘Planes’, ‘Never Even thought’ and ‘Late Nights in Soho’. Colin has continued to record albums and perform live across the globe as a solo artist and with The Zombies.
